Frankfurt...for a bit
Well,
It is back on the travelling road for me. May and I left Greece after 10 days of awesome times. Between teaching May how to drive a moped, endless tzatizki dippings, lots of gyros, cooking for ourselves in our little kitchen consisting of one frying pan, a pot and a strainer, playing on the beach and beautiful sunsets in Oia, we had a blast. Oh yeah, we had a heck of a tournament of Speed...I know, I know, we could have played different games but we had a blast, playing everyday and yes, that pino beat me. I have been stressing over different strategies for days now..
I left May in Athens on Friday afternoon, 6 hour train ride to Patra, hour break to call home, catch some dinner, then a 30 hour ferrz ride back to Venice. Arrived early Sunday morning, caught a train within the hour to Milano, slept all 4 hours. Within 20 minutes of arriving was on board towards Basel. 6 hours later, caught another train to Frankfurt within 15 minutes and finally arrived around 10 pm last night. It was the longest bit of traveling for me and quite the change from May and mine easy living that took place in Santorini. But 50 hours later, accross 4 countries, I made it to Jimmy's place. He is a friend of Matt's, my older brother, and has been here for about 6 years. He gave a nice bed (complete with spider man blanket, spider man pillow slip, spider man posters...all compliments of his 5 year old son Nolan, who also happened to leave a pair of Snoopy boxers in the bed too..), the internet right now that I am using
, and his bike that I plan to use over the next two days to tour around in. Should be good times with him before I am off to the Philippines for 2 and a half weeks on Wednesday. But I do make it back here for a few days to start off my world cup tour.
Just wanted to say hi to everyone, this guy is still safe and sound in Germany now. Take care all
Adam
